⦁ The type of items and furniture to be moved; whether they require disassembly and reassembly at the destination; and any complications involved in their transport.
⦁ The packing of the items, meaning the amount of packing material required (if done by the client, it will be more economical).
⦁ The number of workers required for an efficient move that is completed within the appropriate timeframe and carried out satisfactorily.
⦁ The access conditions to the residence: whether there is an elevator or not, the possibility of installing an external lift, inspection of staircases including their length and width, and the distance to the truck, etc.
⦁ Other aspects such as the type of vehicle required, execution dates, distance to the destination, and so on.

Our company includes virtually all the necessary services to carry out a move properly: packing of furniture and belongings; handling, loading, and securing items in the vehicle; transportation to the destination; unloading of goods; unpacking of furniture; placement and arrangement of boxes and furniture at the destination; additional unpacking and organizing of belongings if requested; use of a furniture lift crane; special transport of artwork, pianos, or large musical instruments with extra service, and more.

Ideally, you should notify us 7 to 15 days in advance to confirm your service. However, this does not guarantee availability, especially during peak demand periods such as Christmas, summer, Easter, long weekends, holiday eves, month-ends, or Fridays in general.

Islatrans can offer you various quotes, from the "full service," in which we handle all services (packing of belongings in boxes, packing of furniture, disassembly and assembly of furniture, loading, placing it on the truck, unloading, and distributing the goods to the home), to the "operator service," which includes operators plus a vehicle for loading, transport, and unloading. If the client performs some of the service and requires fewer services from Islatrans, the quote will be based on what the client contracts.

All types of objects can be transported, except corrosive liquids; illegal merchandise; flammable items; living beings; perishable foods (fresh food); firearms; and drugs; butane gas cylinders. For international moves, in addition to all of the above, the restrictions of each destination country must be reviewed.
